Discover the Joy of Music

Eastside students have opportunities to discover their gifts, build confidence, and develop skills they can enjoy for years to come. With options for different ages and skill levels, there’s a place for everyone to get involved.

Music Opportunities

Students build a strong foundation through instruction that develops musical skills, technique, and confidence.

Jr. Choir

Grades 5-8

Students develop advanced vocal skills through rehearsals during the school day. The choir sings for worship services and school events and participates in the Fine Arts Festival at Lakeside Lutheran High School each spring.

Handbells

Grades 5-8

Students develop advanced ensemble and handbell skills through rehearsals during the school day. The group performs for worship services and school events throughout the year.

Piano Lessons

Grades 2-8

Students receive individual instruction to develop piano technique, music reading, and performance skills. Lessons are $20 per half hour, with limited availability during and after the school day.

Band Lessons

Grades 5-8

Students receive instruction during the school day. Students learn their instruments and develop the skills needed to participate in a band ensemble. Annual cost: $425. Instruments may be rented separately through White House of Music.

Meet Our Music Coordinator

Welcome to Music at Eastside Lutheran School!

I’m excited to share the many opportunities our students have to discover and grow through music. From beginning experiences to more advanced opportunities, there is a place for students of all ages and skill levels.

Music helps our students build confidence, creativity, and discipline while discovering and developing their God-given gifts. It also gives them meaningful opportunities to share those gifts with others.

Music That Glorifies God

Music is an important part of worship at Eastside. Students have opportunities to share their gifts through singing and playing instruments during church services, our annual Christmas service, and other special events in our Madison community. These experiences help students see how their musical gifts can be used to praise God and serve others.
