What inspired you to become the church secretary, and what do you love most about your role at Eastside?

The love and commitment to each student as an individual was an amazing to see as a parents of two kiddos, one of whom has had multiple health issues. This led me to think that if I worked here, that would allow me to be part of that.

How does your faith influence your work at Eastside?

My faith helps me keep a positive attitude. It helps me have confidence in the future of our children, church, and country.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of school?

I love to read, do puzzles, spend time with my family, and being outdoors.

What is a fun fact about you that students may not know?

I have a blackbelt in karate. Cereal is one of my favorite foods!

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. This is my favorite verse because this states what each and everyone one of us should be doing, everyday. We should all be helping each other and building on one another strengths. In a world where a lot of people are criticizing one another, we need this more than ever.
