What inspired you to become a teacher, and what do you love most about your role at Eastside?

I wanted to serve the Lord in full time service. In my role as a Called servant of the Lord, I have the opportunity to serve the adults in my congregation and the children in telling them about the great love and promises their Saviour has for each of them.

How does your faith influence your work at Eastside?

My faith influences everything that I say and do. It is my way of life in words and actions.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of school?

Crafts, Reading, Pets, watching Hallmark movies, and having my entire family-husband, children, and grandchildren in my life.

What is a fun fact about you that students may not know?

I have a motorcycle license.

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?

Revelation 2:10b. Our earthly life is a mixture of joys, trials, tribulations, and sorrows that we endure until He calls me to Heaven. The passage reminds me that during my earthly stay I must keep my eyes directed to Him in faithfulness. I know that when He calls I will have that crown of life being with Him forever.
