What inspired you to become a teacher, and what do you love most about your role at Eastside?

I come from a family of Lutheran School Teachers, and I love the relationships I've formed with the staff and helping students grow.

How does your faith influence your work at Eastside?

I love that I am able to share my faith freely.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of school?

Gardening, plants, biking, books!

What is a fun fact about you that students may not know?

I love the ocean and going to the beach.

What is your favorite Bible verse, and why?

Isaiah 40:8: "The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever."

This verse keeps us focused on the life after this one and why it is important to have faith.
